Libra Ascendant

The Ascendant describes the role that we are associated with, that others see us in, and that we, over time, come to identify with.
Since our brains hate to hold two opposing beliefs at once, we disown or reject whatever traits are the opposite of those associated with the Ascendant - those of the Descendant.
With a Libra Ascendant, you like to see yourself as the well-mannered peacemaker.
Therefore, you reject any traits that do not fit that role, such as egoism, aggression, maybe even assertion. (Aries Descendant)
There is often a clear and somewhat exaggerated black-and-white thinking when it comes to the signs on the Ascendant and Descendant.
The rejected traits have to go somewhere, you can't get rid of them, so they are usually projected onto others.
This results in beliefs such as "I am civilized (Libra AC) and others are like cave men (Aries DC). I am nice and others are rude. I am considerate and others are inconsiderate. I am fair and others only think about themselves."

The Libra Ascendant person is often seen as particularly nice and polite and others initially see them as the gentle social butterflies who can avoid all conflict by staying neutral.
Since those with a Libra Ascendant come off as very diplomatic, others tend to approach them in a friendly manner as well.
Their charms incline others to be nice to them.
Something about them makes people approach them in an unusually friendly manner - they open others up to negotiation and polite interactions.

Their first instinct when approaching others or new situations is to relate.
They need to find a common ground, and a type of balance and harmony with everything.
These people can't help but look at everything with a mentality of "how can I create a relationship?"
Libra Ascendants need to find something relatable in everything and everyone.
