Venus in Aries / Aries in Love

In a person's horoscope, the planet Venus describes their way of expressing affection and their idea of love and romance. Aries is the first sign in the zodiac - it is the warrior, the child and the hero.
Aries is quick, impulsive, strong and ego-centered.

Project these arian qualities on the planet Venus of love, and you'll get someone who views love as a challenge and an adventure.

Venus in Aries is the love at first sight constellation.
It only takes one special thing about someone to make a Venus in Aries impulsively fall head over heels.

They won't play games either - they want to conquer their love interest as quickly as possible and are very direct in their expression of affection.

They love winning someone over and prefer the position of the hunter over that of the prey.
After all, they are the hero and love is their prize.

Venus in Aries likes taking initiative and playing cupid

In the beginning of a relationship, it will be full of passion and adventure.
Love for a Venus in Aries isn't supposed to be safe or even long-lasting, it's much more about the excitement of fresh, fiery romance.

However, when the feeling of fresh love starts fading, they might start losing interest.
Aries being the youngest and most childlike sign, someone with Venus in this sign will be like a child with a new toy - very excited and fully focused on it at first, but then getting bored of it.

Venus in Aries is all about "firsts" in love and romance.
When they've experienced all possible firsts with someone, that person stops being of much interest to them.
Venus in Aries is egoistic in love, they are always asking "What can I get out of this relationship?"
They aren't  very selfless in the way that they will give their love interest a lot, but only with the thought of getting something in return at the backs of their minds.

Being all about passion, adventure and firsts, Venus in Aries people don't like being really committed or dependend in relationships in hopes of being able to free themselves easily when they get bored.

There's nothing like a Venus in Aries in love - they're bold and expressive with their affection, it comes impulsively and strongly.
They're really proud of all their loved ones and will call everyone their friends.
Closeness develops a lot quicker in their minds than in anyone else's and they might appear like they're rushing it.

They're a partner in crime and really romantic.
As long as you can keep them entertained and interested in you, they will never leave and love you passionately.
All they need is a kind of love that feels like there's always something new to experience.
They don't want safe, secure, boring routine.
They need to keep on adventuring and learning like a child in the field of love and romance.
The excitement of fresh love must never end, or the Venus in Aries will jump into the next exciting thing.

That's why Venus is in detriment in Aries.
Rather than loving for the pure sake of it, love is used as an egoistic tool for excitement.
(Obviously that is not the main and only motivation of someone with Venus in Aries; it is only one little fraction of what makes up their whole, complex being/horoscope).

To me, a typical person with Venus in Aries was Marilyn Monroe.
She played with men, made them fall in love with her and love was a really exciting adventure in her life.

"Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed.
Maybe they need to run free until they find someone
just as wild to run with" ~ Carrie Bradhsaw

  2. I'm a Venus in Aries female (Mars/Venus/Mercury conjunct in Aries, haha) and although I relate heavily to this I want to say, astrology seriously needs to catch up with changing social mores. I read The Ethical Slut when I was fifteen, and I've tried monogamy, but it just didn't work for me... Not because I need to have sex with lots of people. But the closure of heteronormative expectations makes me feel stifled and crazy. I'd rather don a chastity belt then be somebody's possession.

I've never cheated, but I've been accused of it a hundred times over. And I've been cheated on (didn't mind it that much except for the lying). Venus in Aries is independent. The advice is sound: never try to fence us in- keep us interested instead. Not just sexually, but intellectually, socially, physically... Go on adventures with us. Be up for challenges.

My best friend is also a Venus in Aries
And she's been happily married for six years now. Her husband and her are nonmonogamous and live abroad, traveling frequently. They're very happy, but their romance in no way resembles the stereotypes of marital bliss.

Another thing. Not a pretty thing. I hate lying and hypocrisy. I hate double standards. Ariens are immediate, impulsive, and at our best- highly authentic. Unless you're gunning for a fight (and we live to fight!), you'd better get your sh#t straight unless you want us to call you out on it.

And if you're dating a Venus in Aries lady, you'd better believe that we are strong, special, independent women. Get ready to let us order at the restaurant and challenge you.
