Why Are Cancer Men Such Machos ?

Cancer is known as the sensitive sign - the poet, the artist, the romantic.

However, although some cancer men fit this archetype, such as famous representatives Prince William, Luke Hemmings and Jaden Smith - a lot of them, and you might know this from personal experience, are actually pretty much the opposite: guarded machos who seem to look for hook-ups rather than true, undying love.

For a lot of cancer men, muscles seem to be the armor that is the shell for the crab.

Famous cancer examples such as Vin Diesel, Mike Tyson, 50 Cent and Sylvester Stallone are known for their extremely muscular bodies and overdone macho masculinity.

In this patriarchy, men simply aren't allowed to live out their Cancerian traits:

"Boys don't cry"

"Don't be such a sissy"

The list goes on, and you probably heard these kinds of statements before.

A hurt cancer male will retreat into their shell when being called out for their sensitivity and moodiness.

They might even start building an armor of muscles.

They might sleep around, but usually the reason Cancers (both men and women) go from one partner to another is, because, in their hearts, they actually truly are real romantics and believe that maybe the next person they're with can accept them completely, love them and allow them to come out of their shell.

Italy is a cancer country and to me the archetypal muscular Italian macho fits the Cancer man archetype perfectly:

In public, they're strong and capable, but when someone breaks their heart, they will go home to mommy, eat her spaghetti, be nostalgic and wish they could retreat back into the safety and loving comfort of their mothers arms forever.

A cancer man will always keep looking for that woman that is like his mom and who allows him to become soft and come out of the shell the patriarchy forced on him.
